The Manse in 1964 by the Church of Scotland to house the minister of Port Ellen's St Johns Church.

For those wishing to visit Islay without a car, The Manse is an ideal place to stay. Less then a mile from Port Ellen ferry terminal, 4 miles to the airport, and a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, getting about couldn't be easier.
